Café

Our quaint café and courtyard are a celebration of the produce we sell and a tribute to wine and cheese. On our menu you will find paninis, artisan sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie boards, fondue and sharing platters. All our wines are on offer by the bottle, and we have a daily red and white by the glass alongside local beers and ciders. Or if coffee and cake is what you’re after, we serve a rich locally roasted organic blend to match with one of our many cakes and slices. Inside the delicatessen, we can accommodate 6 diners and our larger outdoor covered courtyard, seating up to 14, is set in a rustic space perfect for al fresco dining whilst taking a break from the sun (or rain!) The courtyard is dog friendly and popular with walkers and cyclist throughout the year and busy with locals and holiday makers throughout the spring and summer. For those nippy winter days, we have heaters on the walls for your convenience or we welcome you to dine inside the café.

Cheese and Meats

As a traditional market town deli, our counter is full of local and award-winning cheeses and meats, an impressive selection of farmhouse pies and pasties, and deliciously deep quiches. Our famous ham, carved as you wish, is a staple for our local villagers. For those with a sweet tooth, we carry irresistible brownies, flapjacks and slices. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to West Country cheese producers. Authentic Farmhouse Somerset Cheddar, Supreme Champion Kern, creamy goats cheese, triple cream brie, smoked, organic, and a 14th generation producer. All this and more can be found in the West Country and in our counter. Our love of cheese doesn’t end there! We have selected some of the best British and European artisan cheeses, alongside the classics you would expect from a great cheese counter. Always eager to try something new, Jeremy selects regulars guest cheeses which can be found on the chalkboard behind the cheese counter or check out our news section below

Wine & Spirts

At Wildmoor we love wine. All of our bottles are hand-picked by our owner, Jeremy, who works closely with suppliers to offer a unique selection of wines that you are unlikely to find on the supermarket shelves. Jeremy’s wine education comes not just from the tasting room, but also from the cellar, having made wine in both Australia and his native Canada. With a love for lesser-known varieties and winemakers who prefer to let the grape and terroir do the talking, we have built a portfolio of wines with character, individuality and story. Jeremy loves helping people select wine to pair with meals, as gifts for friends and family, or just a great unique bottle to drink for the evening. Bovey Tracey is home to the first Whisky distillery in the southwest, Dartmoor Whisky, and we proudly stock their single cask whiskies and taster box alongside multiple Westcounty award winning gins and rums.

Beer & Ciders

Devon in home to many unique brewers and cider makes and we stock many favourites year around and feature guest producers throughout the year. On our shelves you will always find Black Tor Brewery, Dartmoor Brewery, Teignworthy Brewery and two fantastic lager producers, Utopian and Barnaby’s who won best organic beer in the world. For cider we stock Norcotts and Perry’s ciders in standard bottles and Piltons, Find & Foster and Sprywood Cross for premium cider in 750ml bottlers.

Other produce

We also carry a wide selection of preserves, biscuits and savouries, speciality flour, whole foods, free from products and everything you need to make unique and mouth-watering meals. In the West County section of the deli you will find delights from some of the best producers around. Form Bovey Tracey’s own multiple award-winning producer Clare’s Preserves, to hot sauces, biscuits, fudge and drinks, you’re sure to find lots of treats to take a bit of the West County home. Having a picnic on the moors? Make it easy with our freshly made artisan sandwiches, or warm up after a walk with an organic takeaway coffee at our Café & Wine Courtyard.
